In the past, some instances of KUBE pages were unfortunately flagged by anti-virus software and malware scanners, causing inconvenience for our customers. Our team has proactively engaged with antivirus vendors to identify and resolve these issues, resulting in a more seamless user experience.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing security, we’ve introduced custom CNAME entries. This change involves transitioning from the generic officialbookings.com domain to unique, client-specific domains. This strategic shift not only eliminates the risk of false positives related to DNS hijacking but also allows hotels to have individualized domains that distinctly point to their respective KUBE pages.
While your existing domains will continue to function without disruption, we highly recommend adopting this new setup to ensure the best possible performance and security. Our updated documentation within the hotel manager provides clear instructions on how to make this transition effortlessly.
